Visual Artist. Creative Coder. Storyteller.  

Lo Valdez is a digital designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University. She has worked at startups as well as large companies like Fujitsu, Cisco, Intuitive Surgical, Apple and Facebook. 

Her current art practice is focused on creating organic and abstract forms in TouchDesigner. Some include her original poetry that express common themes of love, loss and trauma. By being vulnerable, Lo feels she can have a deeper visual discourse with the viewer. Now more than ever, society needs to address the mental health crisis. She believes that by turning her pain into something beautiful she can help others to begin to heal as well.
